Camper

Set up camper to clean up inside and remove winter gear we had packed.
We put about  10,000 miles on this camper and camped in mountains, the plains of Canada and United States and at the beach, in ninety degree temperature to twenty degrees . Near hurricane winds and rains. Besides one blow out in Canadian Rockies due to BAD roads, we had no real problems.
It held up well.

Bears go after garbage

Two nights ago a bear busted in a metal door to get to the garbage.
I called fish and game and reported it.
They said there was two brown bears seen in this area several times, one very big,.
I put out my game camera last night and when their motion sensor lights came on around midnight I thought I would get h with camera, no luck.
I have it out again for tonight.

Back in Kenai chalet

We were able to get in the house today. Finally we will be able to get settled back in. I know I'll be looking for things for weeks.
Red salmon are still running, I caught another yesterday evening, and lost two,
Kelly was there with the net but those two still were able to avoid the net and dislodge their hooks.
I guess a fish that travels over a thousand miles to return up river to where they were hatched to spawn, are determined to complete their mission.

New friend

This squirrel was about four feet above me in a small tree I was hanging a hammock in. I thought he was going to jump down on me when I was laying in the hammock.

Made it back to Alaska

Left White horse Yukon this morning and pulled in to Tok RV park around 4:30 PM local time Alaska. Still around 325 miles to Anchorage and then 150 back to Kenai. The roads from Haines Junction to Beaver Creek (border crossing) were horrible. We have lots of pics, when internet gets better we will post

Is it day or night?

At Muncho Lake

It rained non stop, not real heavy but enough. Kelly cooked us a nice hot dinner despite the rain. We packed up early and left this morning and drove to Whithorse in the Yukon, where we have a nice site in High Country RV park.
