Kenai Fjords and Resurrection Bay

Kelly and I went on the Kenai Fjords marine cruise, departing Seward AK. Resurrection bay on the Aialik Voyager, an 83 foot catamaran . We visited several bays and coves, viewing a variety of marine life mammals and birds. The Orcas were hunting salmon and put on a good show with their aquatic acrobats in chase of their prey. Also seals, sea lions and one humpback whale( no pic of humpback). The glaciers were amazing. Water in the bay's were smooth, but the open ocean had eight to ten foot waves, that gave us a fun ride, even in the 83 foot vessel we were tossed about pretty good. As far as I know there were no sea sickness. We saw people do crash landings into seats and railings as they moved around, one lady fell but a crewman was quick to help her.

It was a great adventure.
